Q: Can kids fall or roll out of the
units you hire?
Bouncy Bobs units are all fully enclosed unlike
traditional castles and jumps you get in Ireland, so it
is much harder for kids to roll out the front of the
units onto the ground. |
| |
|
| |
Q: Why is an adult required at all
times to monitor the use of an inflatable?
Inflatables that are used correctly are safer than
playground swings and slides. Improper use by the
occupants, such as climbing on the nets, rough housing
or running into one another can cause serious injury. It
is important that a responsible adult be in charge of an
inflatable at all times to insure that all safety rules
are followed to prevent injury. |
| |
|
| |
Q: Can we hire for more than one
day?
A: If required, the inflatable is available for more
than one day. The second or more days are charged at 50%
per day. of the first days hire. The blower unit must be
switched off and taken in overnight before night dew.
This is only available if long range forecast is good. |
| |
|
Q: How do I book an inflatable?
A: By telephoning 1850 Bouncy/ 1850 28 86 29 or via
email click here. |
|
|
Q: How and when do I pay for the
hire?
A: It's simple. Just pay our driver/installer on the day
when he arrives in cash or by cheque. Make the cheque
out to "Bouncy Bobs". |
|
|
Q: Are your units clean?
Yes. All our bouncy castles and jumps are clean. We are
committed to making sure that your children are playing
in a clean, healthy, and safe environment. |
|
|
Q: How much space will I need for
the inflatable?
A: On top of the unit size (see gallery page) we require
a MINIMUM of 2ft to the sides required for staking down
(unless side slide is attached then this will be more),
3ft to the rear to site the blower unit and 3ft to
thefront for safety mats. This will eliminate damage
from fences/trees etc. |
|
|
Q: How far in Dublin will you
deliver an inflatable?
A: We can deliver anywhere within Dublin city /M50 area.
We can deliver outside Dublin but a mileage charge will
apply for our Driver's fuel and time. |
|
|
Q: How much will it cost to run?
A: Not very much, usually around €2.00 electric per day. |
|
|
Q: Can we still hire an inflatable
if we have no access to a power supply?
A: Yes. If a generator is supplied for us. You will need
to ensure it can power a minimum of a 1.5hp blower. |
|
|
Q: What happens if I lose power?
All inflatables designed for commercial or rental use
require a fan or blower that runs continuously. Should
the blowers provided to you stop working, immediately
remove the children playing in or on it. Then check the
circuit breaker to see if it has tripped. If so, reset
the breaker and continue playing on the inflatables.
Should the breaker trip a second time you should try
another electrical outlet. If it trips again please call
the number provided to you by our driver. |
|
|
Q: Can your units be set-up indoors?
Yes. We can set up our castles, combos and jumps in
gymnasiums, halls, churches, or any where else that can
accommodate the height of our units. |
|
|
|
Q: What will I need to do on the day of
the hire?
A: Please ensure that the access/ side passage is clear
and the site is free from any sharp objects and/or dog
mess etc. |
|
|
|
Q: How early or late can the inflatable
be delivered/collected?
A: Normal delivery times are between approx (Depending
on distance, time of year and amount of bookings for
that day) 8am and 1pm and collection between 6pm and
9pm. Collection times may be earlier for with dark
evenings earlier or later in the year. Unfortunately we
cannot guarantee an exact time within these hours but we
will try to accommodate. |
|
|
|
Q: How long will it take to set up the
inflatable?
A: It will take approximately 15 minutes to set up
depending on access. Larger inflatables may take a
little longer. |
|
|
|
Q: What happens in bad weather
situations?
A: We do not operate in rain, strong winds or snow as
they become slippery and dangerous. A full deposit
refund will be given. The equipment must not be used in
wind speeds exceeding 32kmph (20mph) Keep an eye on the
weather forecast in any doubt and look for visual signs
such as large branches in motion, whistling from wires
and umbrellas used with difficulty. |
|
|
|
Q: Why do I have to use anchors or sandbags with
inflatables?
While inflatables are heavy, they also present a large
surface to the wind. If an inflatable is not anchored
correctly the wind, depending on how strong it is, can
actually pick it up and blow it away with or without
children playing in or on it. Regardless of how well
anchored an inflatable is it should not be played on or
in when the winds exceed twenty miles per hour. |
|
|
Q: What happens if there is a fault with the castle
after the deliverer has left?
A: Please telephone 1850 Bouncy (1850 26 86 29)
immediately and remove children from unit. This is very
unlikely though as all of our units are new and of
excellent quality. |
|
|
Q: What happens if it rains during the use of the
inflatable?
A: Blower unit must be disconnected from mains electric
and put indoors as they must not get wet. Unit once
deflated must be covered with tilt supplied. Obviously,
if weather improves then unit may be re-inflated for
continued use. |
|
|
Q: What will happen if the inflatable becomes
damaged/stolen whilst in possession?
A: Unit must be inspected before we leave and any damage
noted. If damage occurs unit must be switched off and
hirer will be liable for any repair costs. The repairs
must be done professionally to keep are Safety
Certificates in order. Hirer will also be liable for any
theft and required to reimburse the value thereof. |
|
|
Q: What does your Public Liability Insurance cover?
A: This covers injuries caused by malfunction of unit or
improper installation. It does not cover you for
improper use or boisterous behaviour. Adult supervision
is required at all times. We will not be held personally
responsible for any injuries. A Correct Use of Equipment
Form must be signed and returned prior to hire.
Additional personal liability cover can be arranged
through your home insurance. |
|

from February-December for bookings. We hire out units 7
days a week. We are closed during January. |
